Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 1 June 2025

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Oxbrivy platform (“Service”) operated by Hornbill Publications(“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About the Service

Oxbrivy is an AI-powered study-abroad advisory platform that helps students discover international university programs, scholarships, visa guidance, and application documents. The Service is offered in the following subscription tiers:

  • Free Plan — limited access to core features at no cost.
  • Pro Tri-Monthly — full access billed every three months (₹2,999 per cycle).
  • Pro Annual — full access billed annually (₹7,999 per year), including one free consultation session.
  • Consultation Session — one-time 1:1 advisor session (₹1,999 per session).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payments

  • Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
  • Payment processing is handled by Razorpay. We do not store card details.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice via email.

5. Use of AI Features

Our platform uses artificial intelligence to generate program recommendations, draft documents, and provide guidance. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional legal, immigration, or financial advice.
  • You must verify all information (deadlines, eligibility, tuition fees) directly with the university or relevant authority before acting on it.
  • We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated recommendations.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent academic documents.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform.
  • Share your account credentials with third parties.
  • Use the Service to spam or harass other users.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, AI prompts, and software on the Oxbrivy platform are the exclusive property of Hornbill Publications and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

Documents and content you create using our AI tools remain your property. By using the Service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee admission to any university, scholarship award, or visa approval. University admission decisions are entirely within the discretion of the respective institutions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hornbill Publications shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease, and we may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. We encourage you to contact us first at ceo@oxbrivy.com to resolve disputes amicably.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 15 days before any material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
